WHAT CUSTOMERS HAVE SAID ABOUT THEIR CUSTOM MOVIES:

INTERROGATION OF A REBEL SPY

Now that I’ve watched Rebel Spy Part 2 a few times, I can add more comments to my initial thoughts.

First off, I have to say it really is an outstanding piece of work. In my opinion, if we include both parts, it’s easily the best thing Teraz has released since KTM –
and as this is a custom, it caters more directly to my own fantasies and as a result is (for me) even better than KTM when it comes to content.
Obviously, Rebel Spy is much shorter than KTM and involves only a single premise, but it perfectly depicts the KTM militia scene the way
I would have wanted it (which was the whole idea I suppose). Like I said earlier, if Kristi had died at the climax of each of her adventures then catapulted to another scene where she
is “reborn”, I’d rate KTM even higher than the FK films. Obviously, you’re not about to remake the whole movie that way (LTM notwithstanding), so Rebel Spy is as close as I’ll get.

I’ve watched the second part of IRS (unfortunate acronym that) a half dozen times now and like Part 1, it doesn’t wear out its appeal.
Aside from videos in which there is virtually no acting by the heroine, I believe this is the first Teraz film in which I don’t cringe at any of the dialogue.
Not only does Stacy look great, she plays her part most believably. There’s none of the stilted delivery we see in her first scene in MOW2.
I especially like when she speaks Spanish near the end – giving herself up and showing defiance. Was that Stacy’s own voice, or did someone else dub it?
Any doubts I had about her performance were mostly allayed in Part 1, but it was great to see her do such a wonderful job in Part 2 as well.
Do you intend on showing the final film to Stacy? Regardless, please pass on my thanks and compliments when you see her again.

As usual, the male characters did their jobs well. I assume one of them was you, so kudos on filming this without drawing attention to
the fact that you were both cameraman and actor. Usually that is easy to spot, but not in IRS. Or maybe you had someone else shoot some of the scenes?
As you dubbed the voices during post work, I guess the acting by the males is limited to abusing Stacy –
but the various pummelling, burning, electrocution, tongue extraction and machine gunning scenes were all handled well.

A few of the preview pics reveal that the “metal” (?) batons used to beat Stacy are actually flexible. Some shots show them bend on impact, like nerf truncheons.
Although I feared this would be obvious in the video, to my surprise it isn’t (at least not without showing the action in slow motion).
Perhaps you sped up some of the hits to disguise this – something I’d normally take exception to, but somehow it works. Of course a lot of this is due to Stacy’s reactions.
The whole beating sequence is quite a treat, and the main reason one might suspect it isn’t real is that the heroine would never be able
to take that level of torture without collapsing or at least displaying more serious injuries.

The cigar burning was, ummm... pretty hot too. It wasn’t as good as the original sequence in KTM, primarily because some of it happened off camera or with one
of the militia guys obscuring the view, but once again Stacy’s performance carries the scene. This is even more the case during the electro-shock sequence which for me is the
centrepiece of the video. The effects really work well, and clearly were worth effort. When combined with Stacy’s anguished response to the shocks,
the scene is not only believable but very erotic. It could have gone on much longer with no complaints from me.

The tongue extraction was done more realistically than the one in KTM, though part of the fun of the original was how it was taken to cartoonish extremes.
In IRS, it’s hard to tell there is a fake tongue involved until it is ripped off – which I suppose is good if you don’t want to –ahem– stretch things too far.
At first I wasn’t sure about the pissing scene, but after a few viewings I think it adds a lot to the ending. Not only does it reveal that Stacy,
despite some last minute defiance is actually terrified, it also gives her captors one last opportunity to humiliate her, adding to the ignominy of her death.

As you know, I would have preferred that our long-suffering star was stretched out on a rack for the conclusion, but the way she is bound isn’t as bad as I’d feared.
It still seems a bit awkward, but it certainly draws attention to where the action is. As for the machine gunning, I suppose there is no way to make it “realistic”
without buying a truck-load of fake blood and a water cannon, so you’ve done an admirable job considering the limitations. Yes, it would have been nice to have more gore
and OTT elements here, but props to you for getting in what you did. Stacy remains remarkably intact, but as a fetish scene it delivers.
The way the gun barrel is shoved into her (excellent!) and the smoke rising from her mouth and genitalia (ditto!) add a lot here.
My biggest complaint is that it goes on too long. It’s a rare scene in the film which fails the credibility test. At about the half-way point during the execution,
Stacy should be dead as a Monty Python parrot, not reacting to a seemingly endless barrage of bullets. And why would her killer be wasting all that ammo?
If I wrote it this way, it’s my bad, but if you ever get a chance to re-edit the finale and trim the machine gunning a bit, I’ll pay you for an alternate ending.

Other criticisms? I have some, but they are relatively minor. First off, that syringe prop belongs in the same dusty cabinet to which your rubber spider has (hopefully) been retired.
Not only does it looks like something you’d use to tranquilize an unruly rhino (which is okay I guess) but it clearly doesn’t have a needle.
That becomes even more obvious when the militia guy “injects” the drug over rather than into Stacy’s boob.
I liked the way Stacy is bound to the crossbeam as the video opens, but am wondering if she would hang the way she does when she is unconscious.
Her legs seem to be supporting her and it doesn’t look like all her weight is on her arms as should be the case.
Personally, I would have preferred Stacy looked a little more worse for wear, but there’s enough blood and bruises to make this a trivial quibble –
we can see she’s not having fun, even if her body seems more resilient than most.

But don’t fret... for every paltry gripe there are many things to enjoy – even some brilliant stuff. As always, there's the wonderful atmosphere which comes through in every
Teraz production, thanks to your expert lighting skills. As with Part 1, the photography and editing is first rate and very creative.
The close up of the militia guy in which we see a bloody, tongue-less Stacy reflected in his shades is quite astounding. One doesn’t get that sort of ingenuity from other producers.
I’ve already said a lot about the electro scene – but the fact that it is so intense and sexy bears repeating. And then there are the assorted incidental elements: the music, the cutaways,
the subtitles, many of which aren’t even included in your competitors’ videos.

All in all, IRS2 – in fact the entire film – is a very impressive production, even more so when you consider it is a custom and you had to meet the needs of a client.
I can’t remember the last time I got this much value for my money. My only concern is how you will be able to keep up this level of work as other custom orders come in.

I downloaded the behind-the-scenes video for Part 1 but haven’t watched it yet. Even if Stacy doesn’t make any mistakes,
it’s always fun to see what goes on during filming. For me blooper reels are less interesting than footage of the cast and crew at work.

Finally, I’ve watched both the high and low bit-rate versions, and honestly I can’t tell the difference. I don’t know how to run the clips side-by-side,
but by comparing them one after the other, the resolution seems identical and neither exhibits any artifacts or choppiness.
Frankly, 2 GB for a 15 minute video is obscene, so in the interest of preserving space, I think I’ll ditch the big one eventually.
Before I do, can you tell me what to look for? You mentioned the electro scene, but it really looks fine to me on both WMVs.

BTW... the electrocution scene is probably the best ever filmed.

Rest assured that you’ve gone above and beyond my expectations

FRITZ
